WWE Legends Link & Win is a volatile, branded wrestling slot from All41 Studios, and it plays out on 5x3 reels with 25 paylines. HyperSpins allow you to respin reels individually, and this might help you trigger the Link&Win round which comes with 3 modifier symbols and jackpots up to 5,000x your stake. It can also land you the 3x3 mega symbols bonus round, and you can read our full review and test the demo game below.

WWE Legends Link & Win Review
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was all the rage when this reviewer grew up, so our test session wasn’t without a hint of nostalgia. Since then, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has long since overshadowed the staged macho performances, as it’s hard to compete with the unpredictability of the real thing. WWE Legends Link & Win is good fun though. Mostly because of the very American action commentary, and the many video clips sprinkled in showing the WWE legends in action.
Other than the unusual theme, you get a fairly standard installment in the Link&Win range, spiced up by a few modifier symbols that can spike your payouts once in a while. The top-tier 5,000x jackpot is decent, and the advertised potential is a solid 25,000x your stake. The bonus round comes with 3x3 mega symbols, and HyperSpins can help you trigger both features with individual reel respins.

The 4 premium symbols are worth a mention, and these are the 4 wrestling stars: Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, Macho Man Randy Savage and Booker T. Stone Cold.
They pay between 7.5 and 20 x your stake for 5 of a kind, and you also have the WWE logo/belt wild that can land anywhere to help complete winning combos. The Wild pays the same as the top-tier Steve Austin symbol, namely 20x your stake for 5-oak.Similar Slots:
The HyperSpins feature allows you to respin any reel individually, and as many times as you like. The calculated price per spin is on display below each reel, and you can use the HyperSpins to connect winning combos, as well as triggering the Link&Win feature or the bonus round. The respin price will get steeper when big things are brewing, so it’s best to keep an eye on it at all times.
The Bonus Round is triggered by landing 3 scatters anywhere on the same spin, and you win a 1x scatter prize up front. You then get 5 free spins, and reels 2 to 4 merge so only 3x3 mega symbols will land.
These count as 9 individual symbols, except for scatters which always count as only one symbol. You can prolong the bonus round by landing 3 scatters, and this awards +3 extra spins.WWE Legends Link & Win Slot - Free SpinsYou need at least 6 cash coins on the same spin to trigger the Link&Win feature, and the triggering symbols become sticky on a cleared grid. You get 3 spins, and all new non-blank symbols that land reset the tally to 3 again. All coins that land become sticky as well, and the coins land with smaller cash prizes, larger jackpots or modifiers as follows:
- Multiplier - increases the win multiplier by +1, and this multiplier is applied to your total win in the end.
- Collector - adds the value of all present coins to itself.
- Payer - adds its own value to all the other currently present coins.
- Mini, Minor and Major jackpot coins - are worth 50x, 100x and 1,000x your stake, respectively. You can land more than one per round.
The Champion Jackpot is worth 5,000x your stake, and you need to fill the grid with non-blank symbols to win it. Non-UK players, and anyone eligible, can purchase the Link&Win feature for 60x the total stake. You are then guaranteed at least 6 coins on the spin that follows, but the regular bonus round cannot be purchased.
The 200 Spins WWE Legends Link & Win Experience
After a bit of base game grinding, we landed 2 scatters. The HyperSpins feature came in handy, as we landed the crucial 3rd scatter within a couple of attempts.
We purchase the Link&Win feature right after the bonus round has finished, and you can check it all out for yourself in the 4-minute highlights video below.WWE Legends Link & Win Slot - Link & Win GameReview Summary
The over-the-top action commentary is kind of hilarious at times, but it also gets a bit repetitive, especially in the Link&Win feature. You get fun WWE video segments mixed in between features, and there are some hard-hitting ring legends on display for sure. Despite all the macho bravado, there is more flexing than actual fighting going on, and it would have been fun to see a feature that actually got you closer to the make-believe action.
Fans of WWE might enjoy this All41 release, but it feels kind of boxed in by the standardized Link&Win concept. On the upside, you do get some modifier symbols that can do some damage, and this lifts the streak respins style feature out of the swamp of mediocrity. The advertised 25,000x potential looks good on paper, but should probably be taken with a grain of salt. Somewhere between 5,000x and 10,000x seems more realistic in our estimate.
Pros
- HyperSpins for individual reel respins
- FS w/ 3x3 mega symbols in the middle
- Link&Win w/ 3 modifier symbols and jackpots
- Champion Jackpot pays 5,000x your stake
Cons
- Announced 25,000x potential seems unrealistic
- Beware of adjustable RTP ranges
If you love WWE Legends Link & Win you should also try:
Lucha Legends - is a cartoonish Mexican wrestling slot from Microgaming, and it comes with plenty of fun character animations.
You can look forward to super wild multipliers up to x3, and power up mode brings even more action your way. The bonus round is quite explosive as well, and the 2,200x potential is decent for a low/medium volatile game.Game of Thrones Power Stacks - is a branded effort from Microgaming partner, Slingshot Studios, and you get one regular symbol power stacked per spin. The bonus round sports an x2 multiplier, which also applies to any Link&Win payouts (jackpots included). You can thus win up to 25,000x your stake.
Let's Get Ready to Rumble - might come with generic boxers on the reels, but legendary speaker, Michael Buffer, makes this a branded effort, as he provides the action commentary. You should definitely check out his prolonged intro, and this is a feature rich fight night with a 2,389x potential that’s solid enough for a ‘featherweight’ volatile release.
