Voodoo Reels is packed with spooky characters, creepy dolls and magic symbolism, and it also comes with a well-balanced set of features. The big attraction here however, is the Unlimited Free Spins feature, and it follows in the wake of the regular bonus round. The voodoo doll wild steps in for all regular symbols, per usual, but it also pays up to 500x your stake for 5 on a payline. You can decide to switch on the Super Stake feature if you wish, but it will cost you twice as much per spin. The upside is that you will trigger the Pick & Click Bonus Game at random times on losing spins.

You can land Yarn ball symbols on any given spin, and these are collected in a meter up on the left-hand side. When you have collected 6 yarn balls, you trigger the Voodoo Bonus Game. You will then get to place a pin in 1 of 3 voodoo dolls, and this will give you 1 of 3 bonus features:

• Wild Mixer Respins - gives you 3 respins where 2 to 6 wilds are randomly added to the reels per spin.

You can trigger the bonus round in the traditional way also. You will be rewarded with 6, 8 or 10 free spins when you land 3, 4 or 5 voodoo doll scatters, respectively. Before the bonus round plays out however, you will first get a scatter win of either 0.2x, 2x or 20x your stake, depending on how many scatters you triggered the feature with.

When the regular free spins have played out, you move on to the Unlimited Free Spins feature automatically. You will now benefit from 3x3 colossal symbols that fill up reels 2 to 4, and the Unlimited feature goes on until 3 voodoo doll symbols have been collected. The voodoo doll symbols can only land on reels 1 and 5, and the good news is that each collected voodoo doll is replaced by a wild.

StakeLogic has made a very atmospheric game with Voodoo Reels, and the audiovisual experience is pretty awesome. There are 2 ways to get to the Unlimited Free Spins feature, which is the big attraction here. The Super Stake gives you more of the Pick & Click game, which helps break up the base game grind.

It might be worthwhile since it can trigger the Unlimited free spins, and the 2 wild features will usually also lead to decent payouts. The math model is pretty solid too, as you can win up to 5,000x your stake. Being a medium volatile game, you cannot really complain about that potential. Overall, you’ll get your moments of voodoo thrills here for sure, but Voodoo Reels is not in the same league as ELK’s Voodoo Gold.
